What does functional age mean?

The human body has 2 different ages: chronological age and functional age. Your functional age estimates your body’s REAL age. It is a measure of how well or poorly your body is functioning relative to your actual calendar age (chronological age). 

You’ll work with a Club Active exercise physiologist to complete a range of fitness tests, questionnaires and a body scan to understand your current functional age. Our unique functional age assessment assesses your 5 key pillars of longevity:

  3. Flexibility Age
  4. Mental Health Age
  5. Metabolic Age
