About you
Which of these sounds most like you?
There's no wrong answer. It just tells us how we can help.
Your care
What does your package cover at the moment?
Whatever you pick, your Clinic Lead sorts the rest out at your assessment.
Your free assessment
If your Clinic Lead prescribes a plan, are you open to getting started?
At your free assessment your Clinic Lead goes through your goals, your health and what you can safely do, builds your clinical plan, then sets it up with your provider for you. Clinical care under Support at Home is fully funded by the Government, so there is nothing for you to pay. Most people never use it, simply because nobody has ever sat down and structured it for them.
Your care
Who is your provider?
The organisation that arranges your care. If you're not certain of the name, choose the last option.
Your Clinic Lead handles this conversation with them for you. You keep the provider you have, and Club Active delivers your care under their registration.

About Your Funding
Allied health services including Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy and Dietetics are classified as Clinical Supports under Support at Home and are fully funded by the Australian Government at zero out-of-pocket cost. Your sessions are billed directly through your registered aged care provider. You do not pay anything yourself for covered clinical sessions.
Common Questions
Everything you need to know before you start
Navigating aged care funding can feel complicated. Here are straight answers to the questions we hear most often.
Funding and Eligibility
Can my aged care package pay for my sessions at Club Active?
Yes. If you have a Support at Home package, allied health services including Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy and Dietetics are covered under your Clinical Supports budget. This is fully funded by the Australian Government at zero out-of-pocket cost, regardless of your income or assets. Your sessions are billed through your registered aged care provider.
Do I need to have a registered aged care provider to access my funding here?
Yes. Under Support at Home, your funding is managed by a registered aged care provider and allied health sessions must be approved and coordinated through them. If you already have a provider or care manager, the process is straightforward. If you do not have one yet, our team can help point you in the right direction.
I have a package but no care manager yet. Can I still enquire?
Absolutely. Come and have your free assessment first. Our team will explain the process clearly and help connect you with the right provider so your funding can be activated and your sessions can begin. You do not need everything sorted before your first appointment.
What if I am still waiting for my aged care assessment or package?
You are still welcome to enquire. While your funding is being confirmed, we can get your assessment done and your plan ready so there is no delay once your package is in place. For some urgent situations, a short-term Restorative Care Pathway may also apply. Our team can discuss what is right for your circumstances.
Will I need to pay anything out of pocket?
For allied health sessions covered under your Clinical Supports budget, you pay nothing. Clinical care is fully government-funded for all Support at Home participants regardless of financial situation. Your initial Healthcare Assessment at Club Active is also completely free.
Your Club Active Experience
What happens at my Free Healthcare Assessment?
A private 30-minute consultation with a university-qualified clinician. They go through your health history, current concerns, medications, goals and conditions you are managing. You will also have a body composition scan and Wellness Age measurement. Your clinician then prescribes a personalised program and walks you through how your funding applies. The assessment can be done at the club or at your home if that is easier.
Can sessions be done at my home instead of the club?
Yes. Home visits are available for members who prefer in-home care, have difficulty travelling, or are recovering from surgery or an injury. Your clinician comes to you and delivers the same standard of care in your own environment. Many members start with home visits and transition into the club as their confidence and mobility improve. Let our team know your preference when you first enquire.
Who will I be working with?
You will have a dedicated clinician assigned to your care. Depending on your needs, this will be an Exercise Physiologist for strength, mobility and chronic disease management, a Physiotherapist for injury recovery and pain, or a Dietitian for nutrition and weight support. All are university-qualified and experienced in working with adults over 50.
Is Club Active a gym? I have never felt comfortable in gyms.
Club Active is not a gym. It is a clinically guided health facility designed specifically for adults over 50. The environment is welcoming and non-intimidating, and every person in the building is there for the same reason you are. You will never feel out of place, and your clinician is with you every step of the way. For those who are not ready to come in, home visits mean you do not have to.
What conditions can Club Active help with?
Our clinicians regularly work with people managing arthritis, osteoporosis, heart conditions, type 2 diabetes, chronic pain, Parkinson's, balance and falls risk, post-surgical recovery and general deconditioning. If you are managing something not on this list, your free assessment is the right place to start. Our team will tell you honestly whether we are the right fit.
